Fire Rated Building Elements/ Passive Inspections
Once a building has been signed off as fit for use, you will be issued with documentation regarding the necessary essential safety measures that you have in your building.
This will then outline what fire rated building elements are existing in your building and the frequency to which it must be inspected/maintained.
Depending on the element this can be 6 monthly or annually. This inspection is a requirement as per the buildings own documentation and must be completed to ensure the AESMR can be certified at the end of the statement period.
